Shoot 12: Brian Vidovic @ Yaletown

What: 90 minute shoot
Where: Yaletown
Who: Brian Vidovic
Why: Business shots, fun shots

Brian and I headed on over to Yaletown, just south east of the city core. Walk east on Davie street until you are stepping in the neatly piled up towers of tiny dog crap and you will know when you are there. Found between the Granville and Cambie street bridge, Yaletown is a manicured yuppie paradise. Hip, modern, but a very "controlled" space that I have never really felt comfortable in, this area is also incredibly beautiful. Down every street, past every alleyway is another manicured location waiting for the fluttering of a camera shutter. I will definitely be going back to Yaletown for more photos, as I haven't really explored this place yet. More to come.

What did I learn?
I need to make sure that when the subject is posing, they aren't making an unflattering shape with their body, and to be careful how their clothing effects that shape.
Action is awesome. Let those who run around like crazy people, run around like crazy people, it makes for interesting shots.
In direct sunlight, Brian looks like a vampire; and in a strange way, I think he likes that.
